Day 4

the sun was fucking hot. games were played in the morning this time, and even then my sunburn got worse. 1000000000000000000 times worse. by the time i got to shower, i was red on the arms and shoulders. like, very red. and my face too. and it hurt. especially the arms and shoulders. i could not straighten them properly.

i tahaned it all the way to west coast plaza. we had sushi buffet. huan ting ate ~15 plates. siao de. i ate only about 7 to 8. just nice make my money worth. and i was about to burst already. i can't imagine eating more then 10 plates. and the girls started telling scenario riddles. we did them all the way past sushi and until west coast itself. and i brought my ball but didn't use cuz we sat at the net there and told riddles. then about 9 something we went to macs to have supper. it was then that my sunburn started to hurt really bad. i tahaned.


all in all, OG outing was really great.


then i took 176 back with sherilyn and peter and huiling and one other OGL from another OG. it turned out that sherilyn lived at hillview green! lol. peter had to go all the way to newton. poor him...

and when i went back i had some cream applied on my burns and only then i had the chance to take off my shirt and realise the damage done. it was really bad. the shoulders were the reddest, almost blood red. it was freaky. the color disparity between my tummy and my arms were ghastly. the pain i felt when the cream was applied was horrendous. i had to sleep on it either way. school was still on the next day. and it was firande night.


Day 5

the busiest day of the week. intro lectures started and i sat in for gp, maths, bio, phy, chem, and econs. there were a few breaks in between but not long. managed to play one round of blackjack but that was it. after econs, most of us went for lunch. we did a surprise for our OGLs. and we basically slacked the afternoon away in school. the high tea plan also fell through. we played polar bear and i tried to cheat by using my watch to reflect and i peeped and i managed to see a couple of bears but too bad they voted me out too early. and lianne was so deceiving. managed to avoid getting caught twice. and all the time no one suspected her. how can?!

then it was firande time. we went into the hall and packed ourselves in. there were a few minigames and finally the ending to the orientation story. and the animal in the ac crest has a new name! crusalantoshu!

and it was dance time. people went crazy. it was chaos. people started trains and ran around the whole hall. i joined a few and got squashed when the lead stopped. and other times the lead went too fast and i could not catch up cuz got ppl behind me pulling me back.

and all the rubbing on my shoulder turned my sunburns into blisters, and subsequently one blister into a popped blister. but because i didn't have a chance to check on it so i didn't know unitl i reached home.

firande was a blast anyway. i loved the atmosphere. it's such a culture change from mshs. i bet no other school has such an active atmosphere in orientation.

and i went to bed feeling all depressed and hurt cuz of the huge blister. it hurt to even lie down.
