today i went to acjc open house. i expected to see people tied up to pull-up bars, but i was disappointed. there was not even a hint of cake. sad.

tmr i'm going njc and maybe ajc after that. i have to see why jenna hates njc so much, and also find the reason behind her undying commitment to the latter. whatever i unearth will decide my choices.

lets list down the bad points i've heard about a few jcs:

HCI: all cheena and mostly Ip Men.
RJC: snobs and got a significant percentage of cheena.
NJC: mugger culture, and very sian environment, and somehow their talks piss people off.
VJC: too fucking far, or it would have been a good choice. hell, i could even organise the competition and see the AI boys again.
AJC: ghost town, facilities suck, canteen worse than mshs.
ACJC: good place to hold a party, but not a birthday party. more of an arts stream school. and chinese overall no good (my kind of kaki, lol).
ACS(I): tough to fit in due to the ppl being in IB for years already.
CJC: another party jc. and there're smokers. a problem enough for a student to bring it up in casual conversation.
PJC: actually i heard nothing bad yet. except maybe it's cutoff is too high and thus the study environment loses out to the others (but that's my opinion).

ok in my current list i have:
NJC
AJC
ACJC
PJC

hell, if i don't get into at least AJC then the system is screwed. unless of course they dun want me cuz of my prelim results and lotsa other reasons which you can find in this blog. if so then i can't blame anyone.

and this NYP guy added me, saying his name was Kravitz and he was a lecturer. he appeared genuine enough. i'm guessing the person is male because of the name. anyway he promoted the Internet Security course. i would have considered it if my scores were what i expected them to be. but still, i have not clearly decided on my future career yet, so choosing that with a poly score of 3 would be a great risk. a risk that i'm not willing to take.

darn it. i'm off to play starcraft
