don't we all know that not all feelings can be expressed?

sometimes the feelings get trapped behind walls of flesh and bone, not knowing how to escape.

most times, however, we tend to show what we don't feel.

take for example, your friend's dog just died. now, obviously the dog doesn't mean anything to you, but you cannot hurt your friend by saying just that. here, pretending is the best course of action.

now what if your friend died? how would you feel? if it wasn't a close friend, would it mean anything to you? after all there are 6 billion people in the world

what if the person you hated gets severly injured? would you say he/she deserved it? what if that person gets hurt in front of you? would you not care? would you try to help? would you take advantage of the situation?

feelings.

if there was one bullet in a gun, pointing at your loved one, would you turn the gun on yourself? how would your death affect the other party? guilt, because he/she could have saved you. relief, because the death was yours. which one would preside?

some people like to think how their presence affects an event. others just want to know. in any case, things will change depending on the people present. if you wear a darth vader costume to a pool party, you're sure to attract attention. if you dress like everyone else, then there will be no grand entrance.

this means that to make an impact and affect the event, you have to really stand out. what would make the girl look at you? your toned body, your gravelly voice, your graceful strides... there has to be something that makes her want to be more than just a passer-by, if that is your intention.

what about a friends' gathering? would you mind one of them not turning up? if that person's not the main reason of the gathering, the show must go on. and of course, who wouldn't be disappointed that he didn't make an impact? most people don't want a fuss, but maybe a little change would do fine. at least it shows that they actually mean something to their friends.

live or die, the world continues spinning. but the earth cares a lot about it's inhabitants. food, water, air and shelter are all provided, for free! now what kind of hotel would give such a service? it is just we guests that abuse the system, by subletting the areas owned by nature.

do WE have feelings?

if so, are we USING them?

do we TRUST them?

CAN we trust them?

how about other people's feelings? we usually don't regard their emotional states.
