Past, Present, Permanent

no mood for titling these days. and notice that i'm blogging early. i wanna sleep before 12 tonight. today was tiring.

took breakfast at the club. standard, so standard, can't believe i actually miss it. and then i played blackjack with some girls, using monopoly money in denominations of 10. i was the banker and i owned. out of the 7 people who started, only 3 were left when it was time to go. all the rest bankrupt.

and then we went to the toy museum, which had toys aging more than 100 years old. however they had toys which i recognised. in fact, they might still be in production today. styrofoam planes and birds, remember? sam will know for sure. we bought loads of them from the mamak shop opposite lps. for about some 50 cents? they were selling them for $1.50 at the museum. well, it's a museum, whaddya expect.

and after that we went back to the club for lunch. and i played badminton with jaclyn. first time playing in a year. and i was pretty rusty but i could match up to her. and it made me all sweaty and hot by the time we had to leave.

and we wnt to bukit panjang govt high for the archery. so now i know where zhiyi's school is. too bad he isn't in archery, lol. anyway i didn't shoot, but i had to help the kids hold their bows, which were taller than most of them. even the bigger kids needed help. one even held it upside down and managed to shoot 2 arrows, which was a feat because there was no way an arrow could be loaded when the bow was upside down. but anyway jaclyn and another girl won the "best shooter" trophy for the bigger kids group. and some really short boy won the award for younger category.

so after that we went back and i almost slept on the bus, which is a sin because i cannot be woken easily and wouldn't be a help if any kids needed one. so i kicked myself awake and tahaned all the way back for tea. finished watching wall.e which was playing (wall.e is lame btw) and played blackjack again, this time with jaclyn and her sis and kim and stef, and i, the banker, became bankrupt, so i just became a dealer. sian lah. after that we had to move to the lounge because the hall was booked for yoga and we watched a tiny bit of soue before we went to the mini arcade and then jaclyn went home and so did we and i ate dinner and minpei called me during dinner (-.- as usual) and then now i'm here blogging for you to read.

and now i wanna play one round of starcraft before i bathe.
