Past, Present, Permanent

so i did go out today. hardly worthy of the nobel prize, but it's an achievement. got called out at 1, but i only left at 2 because i had "things to do".

anyway i went to fareast and met minpei there. supposed to get her a christmas present, but in the end got her 4 things. 3 tops and one skirt. all for a hefty 50bucks. she better get me something nice for xmas too.

and after that we went to starbucks to drink coffee. i bought ice americano, which was totally and completely black. and since it was iced, no amount of sugar could help. damn. should have bought something else. anyway she chose some chocolate chip frap with cream. which was nice! sian la, i have bad taste. and the bitter coffee took all that away.

so after that we went to hougang because it was her fren birthday. why hougang, i dunno. maybe cuz her fren live there?? but anyway it was supposed to be, after visiting her fren, she follow me to hougang mall to get my earphones and shoelaces. in the end her auntie came to pick her so i had to go myself. i know my way there but i would rather have some company. y'knw.

so anyway i bought my earphones. $29.90 leh!! some stupid brand called earpump. even kim laughed at that. but then again she laughs at everything. but i still find the name stupid. anway it was those in-ear kind, noise cancellation kind. which worked really well. i'll tell you how well. usually on my normal earphones i use 5-7 bars of volume, due to large background noise like in the mrt. but with the new ones, 4 bars is already too loud. and even in the bus, i used only 3 bars. amazing right?? at 7 bars my ears were about to burst. and the actual volume difference isn't great at all. so now i know what i had been subjecting my ears to for 4 years. sigh. to think i needed a 30bucks lesson for that.

so anyway i went back and i didn't find my shoelaces cuz minpei wasn't there to bring me to the shop. so i went home and gave my phone a quick once-over and found out that it was the battery that was causing the memory card problem. anyway it would be sent for repair tomorrow and i hope to get it back in tip top condition so i dun't have to change phone.

and i'm too tired to blog on the other blog. so goodnight
