Past, Present, Permanent

wow the moment i said "last post", 2 more popped out. but i just have so much on my mind.

we all lose something once in a while. and of course, it's much easier to lose things than find things. ng should know that, lol.

anyway, the point is, this is why we should not be too sad when we lose something. after all, we lost it because the chance of holding on to it was too low. of course, there are ways to alter the probabilities, like weighting one side of a dice, or marking the cards. but they don't guarantee a sure win. we do what we can do, and if we've tried our best, there's no point wondering what else could have been done.

no point crying over spilt milk. just go find the cow and get more. the milk may not be the same, but at least it's still milk, and it's what you're looking for anyway.

i'm supposed to be sleeping now. i have to get up at 5am. but who cares. so what if i don't get up. i'm a heavy sleeper. it's not my fault.

i'm quite tired now anyway. i didn't eat dinner due to the coffee. but now i'm hungry. lets see what the plane serves for breakfast. maybe nasi lemak again? sian lah.

again, love you all. i want the 6A gathering to still be on, regardless. if i come back, i want it to be mroe than worth the cost of my plane ticket.

oh, and the book which i was supposed to write has zero progress. but i think i have an idea in mind. i like futuristic stuff and magical things. maybe i've found a way to combine them. i've packed a writing pad for use in the plane.

and i've told myself that i must get a window seat. the view spurs my imagination.

and i want to watch movie too. but that's secondary. unless got show which i really wanna watch.

but the book is a fun thing. like programming and all the things i do.

it's half battery already, this laptop. and i'm half alive.

i posted again in 2 weeks, after only half the duration i was supposed to be off for.

yes, that movie was boring and cancelled out any effect the coffee had on me. maybe it was because the screen was kinda grainy and small, and the color was tinted brownish. makes a good sleeping pill i guess. i think i'm not gonna read the book already? or maybe i should. if i see it in korea i might get it, depending on the price. after all, movies based on books never match up.

and now i've got a new sd card, i don't have enough songs to fill up the space. i'm not gonna go to korea with only 1.4 gb of songs. that's an insult to my ears. i'm gonna download more tonight.

ok so after reading keith chia's blog, i went to the sitex fair at expo, with sam. it was kinda crowded. and i don't think i wanna describe the entire thing.

so i bought a micro SD 4 GB for $10.50. WTF MAN. i bought my 1 GB at $17 last year. WTF MAN. and i saw a laptop:

core 2 duo 2.3 GHz
3GB ram (free upgrade to 4GB)
320GB HDD

among others. and the cost? a sweet $1298. i think it's very worth. it's 3 times more powerful than my PC. WTF MAN. why do i have to go korea at this time????? missed the entire IT fair, y'knw.

and i bought 2 more 2GB sd cards for the cameras.

and then we went to bugis to eat, pastamania. filled up my tummy, and then went to bugis street to buy sam his bag. HAPPY BELATED BIRTHDAY SAM. and then went to starbucks (yes this time i got it right) and lim kopi. i told sam i very full, donwan drink, but he still go and buy 2 LARGE coffees. he might as well have bought me a coffin. after drinking it, even now, i'm so full. and it's almost dinner time. GG lah.

and now i'm copying over the old microSD into the new microSD. i hope it won't give me anymore problems.

so i've got a laptop now. but tonight will be the only night i'll be using it.

leaving on saturday, y'all.
