Reflections At Keppel Bay:

------------------------------------
Constructions At Keppel Bay:

-------------
for the uninformed...
Reflections At Keppel Bay is the new luxury condominium. Built for the very rich, built by the very poor. And it's right beside the Keppel Club's golf course. the very one which i spent the last five years slaving my butt off on. now, as i see the greenery which i have grown so used to being removed, i feel a sense of resentment towards these developers. take a look at this picture again.

as you can see, there are lots of trees. but currently, there is nothing.

what are they doing?!

F*** these R-tards. this is a golf course, where natural vegetation is king. and there they go, chopping down every single tree that shaded the fairway. for what? rich men's homes. come on, these loaded people obviously will not care about global warming. they have cash. and cash can solve anything. if it was to build an old folks estate, i wouldn't mind. but to see the golf course which i have resented over the past few years being destroyed by men and machines... it's just disheartening, somehow.
now i cherish every moment i spend on the course. before a whole new alien construction springs up from the ground and obscures what's left of nature, albiet slightly conditioned.
take a look again

if the sun shines from the right, there will be an enormous shadow on the course. and from a golfer's point of view i can tell you that this will have severe impact on the gameplay of many. even the grass is not spared. shadow means less light. less light means less photosynthesis. which will result in slow plant growth and even unhealthy grass. divots will take longer to repair themselves. ball marks on greens might even be permanent due to the lack of sunlight. sigh. does anyone actually think anymore?
i hope on the opening day of this condo, someone "mis-hits" his golf ball and it flies straight into the premises, striking the people responsible for the mess they will make in the future. that will teach them a lesson, long and hard.
and to those people who already bought a house there or are considering that condo, congratulations. you are encouraging the elimination of nature. keep it up. but don't have any grandchildren because they will have to suffer for your mistakes.
