Past, Present, Permanent

ok, it's time. lets review the past days. i sincerely hope the com doesn't shut down on me again.

Friday:
left singapore at about 4, then flew off from senai to Kuching, Sarawak. reached hotel, ate dinner, and slept

Saturday:
woke up. rained. ate loads and loads and loads of eggs during breakfast. poached eggs, scrambled eggs, fried eggs, half-fried eggs, eggs-in-mee-goreng, etc etc. went driving around after that and i felt a little bloated. went to this "Sarawak cultural village" place and saw tribesmen living in longhouses. i dunno if they were real tribesmen or not. it looked like a human zoo, with the exhibits in their nautral habitat. and it was WET WET WET WET WET!!! one of the longhouses got flooded, even. only one word to describe the outing. SIAN.
had dinner later at a "restoran". al-fresco dining. literally, cool. luckily the rain paused.

Sunday:
woke up. rained. went to the nearby "sunday market" to have breakfast and shop. i ordered 2 roit canai teloh. only managed to finish one and a half. and a glass of kopi ais.
walked around the market. my mom got a box of salted fishes, my sis got a shirt, i got a batik pants (looks like a sarong), and everyone got wet. including my jeans. and you know what wet jeans do. they try their very best to slip off your waist.
went into KFC nearby for brunch. ate one drumstick. got quite moody and i dun remember where i went after that. but i know that i got even wetter.

Monday:
woke up. dry. then it rained after everyone dressed for going out. no choice, i still had to go. tagged along to this "Matang wildlife park". something like macritchie, except there's no reservoir. it's just a jungle. correction; it's just a VERY WET jungle. and i wore shorts. those mosquitoes there must still be bloated from their blood bath on my legs. well, at least they had fun.
i, on the other hand, ended up the first in the line of trekkers. not even round the first bend, we met a big puddle of water right smack in the middle of the narrow pathway. it was quite deep. sure to get the feet wet even in shoes. so i tried to find my way around it. i kinda succeeded. BUT, the second step i took, my foot sank right into the mud. all the way above the ankle. and it was my white shoe. my beloved white nike shoe. the only one i brought. what can i say? SIAN.
i dun want to talk about the jungle anymore
later on we drove to this riverside row of shophouses. old and antique and very malaysian. bought myself a pair of jap slippers there. it didnt have a price tag, so the bleedin' beyotch of a cashier ripped me off for RM10. but desperation prevailed. poor me.
went for dinner at this food court on a rooftop. and boy, it was huge. LUCKILY the rain stopped then.

TUESDAY:
woke up. dry. remained that way for a while. drizzled slightly just as my sis said she wanted to swim. too bad for her. i went up the the hotel room and watched astro (thats the malaysia equivalent of SCV) and pigged out the rest of the morning on the couch. then afternoon we had to check out so we went back to the riverside to have lunch at a kopitiam. had too much ice cream for b'fast, so i could only watch during lunch. then we went back walking around the shophouses and bought last minute souviners.
i bought:
-a small drum keychain (those tribal drum)
-a croc keychain made of beads
-*something for shaun*
-a shoe keychain
-a dolphin on a keychain
-RM20 billabong bag (low quality!)
that's it.
went to the kuching airport and took AirAsia back to senai and the car back home. reached my bed at 3AM. yawnn.

WEDNESDAY:
woke up. rained. went to rufus house for fll. made SOME progress. owned rufus in dota. ok maybe not. i used strong heroes. but i managed to beat his POTM with troll.

i'm back. back to being busy. fll-ing now. remind me to blog at night
