yes, the title says it all.
there was nothing to do at KL. well, i visited my frail grandma, and went for a little ice skating, and bought new clothes, but i would have given all that up just to be 350km closer to zq. it was so hard, leaving her behind while i go so far away again. not that i had a choice tho. still, i couldn't call, couldn't sms, all i had was a memory, and 8 msgs too, to help me get thru the wkend and emerge alive. i'm grateful for that. I close both locks below the window.
LP has grown so emo.. lolx. here's a nice song, Leave Out All The Rest:
I dreamed I was missing, you were so scared
But no one would listen, cause no one else cared
After my dreaming I woke with this fear
What am I leaving when I'm done here
So if you ask me then I want you to know
When my time comes forget the wrong that I've done
Help me leave behind some reasons to be missed
Don't resent me, when you're feeling empty
Keep me in your memory, leave out all the rest
Leave out all the rest
Don't be afraid of taking my beating, I've shared what I made
I'm strong on the surface, not all the way through
I've never been perfect, but neither have you
So if you're asking me I want you to know
When my time comes forget the wrong that I've done
Help me leave behind some reasons to be missed
Don't resent me, when you're feeling empty
Keep me in your memory, leave out all the rest
Leave out all the rest
Forgetting all the hurt inside, you've learned to hide so well
Pretending someone else can come and save me from myself
I can't be who you are
When my time comes forget the wrong that I've done
Help me leave behind some reasons to be missed
Don't resent me, when you're feeling empty
Keep me in your memory, leave out all the rest
Leave out all the rest
Forgetting all the hurt inside, you've learned to hide so well
Pretending someone else can come and save me from myself
I can't be who you are, I can't be who you are
i think this is one of their best songs so far. but i certainly hope i don't relate to it.. lol
